Project Management Leadership

My project management work centers on leading complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives that strengthen instructional systems, improve technology integration, and create consistent, scalable practices across a large and diverse district. I operate at the intersection of instruction, technology, operations, and professional learning, ensuring that every project moves forward with clarity, alignment, and measurable impact.

Cross‑Functional Leadership and Systems Alignment

I have led districtwide instructional technology initiatives across 240 schools, coordinating work across Curriculum, Instruction, Research, IT, Professional Development, the School Transformation Office, and vendor partners. My leadership ensures that projects remain aligned to district priorities and that teams have the structures, communication channels, and support needed to execute effectively. I facilitate cross‑departmental meetings, establish shared workflows, and maintain clear documentation so that every stakeholder understands progress, dependencies, and next steps. My work strengthens system coherence and reduces operational friction, which allows teams to focus on delivering high‑quality implementation.

Strategic Planning and Execution

I manage the full lifecycle of instructional technology and professional learning projects, from scoping and requirements gathering to rollout, monitoring, and continuous improvement. My approach emphasizes clarity, predictable structures, and data‑informed decision making.

Professional Learning Project Leadership

I co‑develop, design, and facilitate professional learning that builds educator and coach capacity with digital tools. My work includes synchronous training for Verizon Innovative Learning Schools (VILS) coaches and educators, focused on foundational proficiency with Apple’s native applications. These sessions are intentionally structured to scaffold skill development, model effective pedagogy, and support transfer into classroom practice.

I also design student‑facing learning modules that help teachers orient students to essential iPad functionality and core Apple applications. These modules are published to the VILS Commons, allowing coaches to implement them across their campuses and expanding the reach of the training.

User Experience and Process Improvement

During training sessions for our Verizon Innovative Learning Schools (VILS) program, I identified that teachers were experiencing difficulty enrolling in our Canvas course. To streamline access and reduce onboarding friction, I incorporated a QR code that allowed teachers to self‑enroll directly from their iPads. This simple design improvement significantly improved the enrollment process and strengthened the overall learning experience.

Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management

My work requires strong relationships with school leaders, district directors, and regional superintendents. I provide regular updates, share data insights, and ensure that stakeholders have a clear understanding of progress, challenges, and next steps. I also collaborate with vendors to communicate district needs, provide feedback on product functionality, and ensure that tools and services align with instructional and operational expectations.

Impact

Through this work, I have strengthened systemwide consistency, improved digital integration, and expanded instructional capacity across schools. My leadership ensures that complex initiatives move forward with clarity, alignment, and shared ownership, resulting in sustainable improvements in instructional technology implementation.
