I recently completed the Clifton Strengths assessment and was surprised by how accurately it captured the way I naturally approach my work. Each of my top five strengths could be traced to decisions I have already made and systems I have already built.
Achiever: Achievers are energized by productivity and have a constant drive to accomplish. For me, that shows up in the 110+ hours I invested in a single course development, the nine contracts I brought to the board for review and approval, and the satisfaction I feel when a project crosses the finish line.
Consistency: People with Consistency set clear rules and expectations so that everyone is treated fairly and quality does not depend on circumstances. I believe that when people know what to expect, they can do their best work, so I build environments where consistency is the foundation, not the exception.
Learner: Learners are energized by the process of acquiring knowledge and skills. I attend AI conferences, complete certifications, build agents on my own time, and seek out new tools simply because I am curious. That curiosity is how I stay sharp, stay relevant, and bring my best thinking to every project.
Responsibility: People with Responsibility take psychological ownership of their commitments and follow through no matter what. I build in timelines, communication structures, and checkpoints because I need to know I delivered on what I promised.
Discipline: People with Discipline create order, plan ahead, and value precision. My colleagues call me Eagle Eye for a reason. I catch what others miss and hold my work to a standard that does not leave room for careless errors.
