Effective instructional technology work at scale depends on strong team leadership, and in this role I set direction, built capacity, and ensured consistent, high‑quality support across the district. I led a team of eight Instructional Technology Facilitators whose work directly impacted all 240 schools, providing coaching, guidance, and performance oversight so they could deliver high‑quality professional learning, targeted coaching, and reliable technology support.
I assigned facilitators based on school needs and project requirements, and set clear expectations for communication, coaching cycles, and deliverables. I coordinated schedules, monitored progress, and provided feedback to strengthen performance and support professional growth.
I designed and delivered professional development to ensure the team was prepared to support AI initiatives, district priorities, and key digital tools. This training maintained consistency in the support provided across schools and equipped facilitators to guide staff through emerging technologies.
I also served as the team’s primary advocate, elevating needs and recommendations to leadership, approving requests, and completing performance evaluations. This leadership strengthened team capacity, improved consistency of technology integration, and ensured reliable, high‑impact support across the district.
See the slides below for feedback from teachers across the district.
