Cross Functional Collaboration

In my role as Project Manager of Technology and Instruction in Broward County Public Schools, I  led extensive cross‑functional collaboration to advance districtwide instructional technology initiatives. I facilitated cross‑departmental meetings, established communication structures, and ensured each team had the information and support needed to move initiatives forward. 

I partnered with curriculum teams to align digital tools with instructional goals, worked with IT to address system needs, and collaborated with Professional Development to design and deliver district-wide training. I also coordinated closely with Legal and Procurement to review contracts, clarify requirements, and ensure our instructional technology contracts met district standards.

My work required strong relationships with school leaders, district directors, and regional superintendents. I provided ongoing updates, shared data insights, and kept stakeholders aligned on progress, challenges, and next steps.

I also collaborated with vendors to communicate district needs, provide product feedback, and ensure that our tools and services aligned with both instructional and operational expectations.

Through this cross‑functional collaboration, I strengthened cohesive systems, reduced operational friction, and ensured consistent, high‑quality implementation of instructional technology initiatives across the district. My collaborative approach built durable partnerships and supported sustainable, districtwide impact.
